Manish was a mentally ill beggar. There had not been any profound detection made about his family and relatives. He was found at Rakshyadhara Square in distorted condition. He was a mental patient suffering from chronic stress and depression. It has been found that he has some genetic disorders as well.
He mentioned that he was admitted in Asya Nivara for counselling but it was not done properly.
Life after coming to shelter home:
After entering the shelter home, his life transformed with access to food, shelter, healthcare, and hygiene. He received emotional support, economical support, and a chance to rebuild his dignity. This environment fosters safety, community, and opportunities for a brighter future. He was admitted in government medical college and hospital, Nagpur for his improper mental and physical state which consist muttering and gesturing to self, verbally abusing, not sleeping at night and poor self care. He was also given under the observation of Dr. Prashant of Regional mental hospital, Nagpur for his other psychotic problems.
After treatment, he was admitted at Manddeep Foundation Psychiatric Shelter Centre under the prospect of Psychiatric Beggar Beneficiary.
